Childbirth Education

We understand that decision making is a complex process and that what is right for one person may not be right for another. We also know that childbirth is unpredictable and even when it's uncomplicated, it may not go the way we imagined it.

Developed by a midwife, our childbirth education course is rooted in the belief that childbirth is a normal, physiological process, but that interventions are sometimes helpful and necessary. Over the course of 6 2-hour sessions, you will receive evidence-based, non-judgmental education to help you make truly informed decisions as well as learn tools to help you navigate the unexpected.

We also know that the big day isn't the only day. Our series also explores decision-making and preparation throughout the postpartum period.

Here are a few things you can expect to learn about:

- Setting up for a Healthy Birth: Nutrition and Movement Guidance

- Navigating Boundaries: How to Have Difficult Conversations and Center Yourself

- Infant Feeding Options: Breastfeeding, Bottle Feeding, Pumping, Returning to Work

- Safe Infant Sleep

- Third Trimester Labor Preparation
